In June 2012, I was invited by the BBC to capture the Queen’s Jubilee River Pageant from the Millennium Bridge, along with 19 other artists. In true British summer fashion, it rained the entire day. The event was televised and it was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done, as drawing for me is a considerably solo and private pursuit.

However, it proved a useful as well as enjoyable exercise, because selling prints from my finished piece helped me fund my way through ad school. Cheers, Liz.
