Ran is a London-based Art Director and artist, currently working at McCann London with copywriter Jenna Morrissey.
Before starting her career in advertising, Ran did an Art Foundation course, specialising in illustration, but fell in love with the notion of the Big Idea. She left the gently rolling hills of the Cotswolds in 2012, when she won a scholarship to study advertising at the School of Communication Arts 2.0 in Brixton.
Ran also works as a freelance artist. She was one of 20 artists invited by the BBC to paint the Queen’s Jubilee River Pageant. This piece went on to be hung in a gallery alongside artists like David Hockney, and earned her a letter from The Queen.
Ran loves Bengal kittens, the smell of new books and is a firm believer in Second Breakfast.
